Confidence to Win
Fear creates irrational reasons that we’re “not good enough for this”.
These are the reasons that we start believing are true. These are the reasons why we simply decide that some things are not for us.
And it’s understandable. Facing fear brings about our evolutionary fight-or-flight response, and we take the easier route—flight.
Being sheltered, being safe is a nice feeling, which is why most people reject change so emphatically.
And this is why, when faced with tremendous opportunities, they rebuff them, comforting themselves with a false belief that it’s unachievable.
