Description
The ParaPro Assessment measures the skills and knowledge in reading, writing and math possessed by prospective and practicing paraprofessionals/instructional assistants. It also measures their ability to apply those skills and knowledge when assisting in classroom instruction. It was designed to satisfy the requirements of the federally legislated No Child Left Behind Act. ***This class section will cover the reading & writing prep material before taking the ParaPro Assessment.***The math test prep section will start 2 weeks after this class. ***This class is for those who are interested in working as a IA in the classroom. **If you do not have a 2 year degree you have to pass the ParaPro Assessment to work as an Instructional Assistant.
