Canaveral Council of Technical Societies Inc.

About Us

The Canaveral Council of Technical Societies is a voluntary, not-for-profit association of engineering, technical, and scientific societies that support members who live and work along Florida’s Space Coast. The purpose of CCTS is to promote and support the activities of the technical, scientific, engineering, and professional organizations of the area in a manner that will enhance the identity and professional stature of the member societies. Membership is organizational and by formal request to the CCTS Board.

The Canaveral Council of Technical Societies held its first Space Congress® in 1962, two years before the Council was incorporated. We have held 45 actual Space Congresses® with two of them known by different names. The 43rd (numbered) Space Congress® was held in April, 2015 and attracted over 300 attendees. The 44th is planned for May 24-26, 2016 and it is hoped will attract over 500. It will be held at the Radisson Resort at the Port and there will be many exhibitors as well as excellent panels and presentations. The Council offers sponsorships at several levels. There is additional information on the website at
