Our tour takes you to the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge, Manatee Observation Deck, Canaveral National Seashore and Indian River, home to over 500 species of wildlife including many that are threatened and endangered. A variety of habitats are found in the 140,000 acres and 24 miles of barrier island, including coastal dunes, saltwater marshes, pinewood flats, and hardwood hammocks. This protected area around the Kennedy Space Center and NASA facilities was created for the purpose of providing habitats for migratory birds, wildlife diversity, endangered and threatened species and to grant access for recreation, observation and education of wildlife activities.
One thing we have learned is that nature changes every day. The good news is it doesn’t matter what the weather, temperature or season, the refuge has something to offer. We make multiple stops but walking is always optional. Pickup and Drop off at Port Canaveral or Private Group custom transportation available. Morning start times generally 7:30am with drop off around 1:30pm. Cruise Passengers we offer optional airport drop off. Group pricing and custom itinerary available for Private Tours.
