Megan McCrea is the owner / operator of Southbound Stays, a small group of short-term rentals in Tennessee and Florida. In addition to her own rentals, she also offers consulting services to fellow owners and property managers through her company, Hospitality Creator. Prior to being in the vacation rental industry, she spent 20 years in marketing and advertising, working with some of the largest media brands in the world. She is the Past President of the Nashville Short Term Rental Association (NASTRA) and Chair Lead for the Florida Alliance for Vacation Rentals (FAVR) Brevard County, FL chapter where she advocates for short-term rental rights and helps educate fellow owners, hosts and property managers. Her efforts have received recognition in the short-term rental industry being named “1 of 10 most empowered hosts” worldwide by Airbnb and "1 of 19 women making waves in the vacation rental industry" worldwide by Lodgify.
