A retired military officer, who opened his first Holistic Wellness Center in Old Town Alexandria in May 2016 called Synergy Float Center, www.synergyfloatcenter.com.    He moved to the Space Coast in January 2023 and opened his second location in Merritt Island Florida, called Synergy Float Spa, www.synergyfloatspa.com in August 2024.    He has three master's degrees, including an MBA, served 26 years in the Army, Air Force, and Navy. and is a Service-Disabled veteran.  He discovered floating after the VA wanted him to begin taking pharmaceuticals for PTSD and other related conditions.   He refused and accidentally discovered floating in a similar commercial establishment to Synergy and it changed his life.   He put a float tent in his house and began floating regularly, and the more he floated the more he felt the Universe pulling him to open a float center.
