Celebrated each year on June 12 in recognition of the anniversary of the 1948 Women’s Armed Services Integration Act signing, 2024 is particularly significant as it is the 76TH ANNIVERSARY of that groundbreaking legislation for America’s military women, granting women a permanent place and an opportunity for a career in the nation’s military. On this special day designated to honor America’s military women, past and present, come celebrate with us! AVET (American Veterans Empowerment Team) Project’s mission is to bring focus upon and heighten awareness to the needs of the United States service men & women and other needy Americans in providing programs and services of assistance, entertainment, and counseling by enlisting the public’s aid. AVET Project provides life changing resources from Financial Benefits to Mental Health and more for our past & present military members and their families. AVET Project helps many low-income Military Families, through screening and providing resources for healthcare, counseling, education, recreation, and arts for the whole family.
